Several times each year, program site coordinators will provide professional development opportunities that focus on the Amgen-Bruce Wallace Biotechnology Lab Program protocols. These professional development workshops cover the theory and lab techniques embedded in the Program's curriculum. Most program site coordinators require faculty to complete one of these workshops to access the equipment and/or supplies the Amgen-Bruce Wallace Biotechnology Lab Program provides its partner schools. Typically, these workshops vary in length from two to five days. They are provided without cost to the participants.
